Happy 4th of July! I hope that you are having a great holiday weekend! You will notice something different about this service a little later on. We even have special music in this service. Thanks to Jack and John for putting it together!

Today is a day that we weren’t sure is going to happen. If you are watching online, you're watching a message that will be a part of the community service later today. We are gathering, outside, as a community for a time of worship. Normally we would be surrounded by carnival rides, but we won’t be this year. We are able to worship, and give thanks to God, even if it isn't as we expect.

​We are back in the Sanctuary for worship! That feels good to be a thing again. As we go through this Summer we’ll still have some interruptions to what we’re doing before we settle into things. Watch the announcements for more information on that.

We are beginning the journey back into the Sanctuary for worship. Starting next Sunday (6/21) we will be back inside. We will still be having two services, one at 9am, and the other at 10:30am. We will also continue to do online services as well. I’m also asking that you continue to wear masks while we worship together. I am very glad that we are taking this next step.

Small groups can start, maintaining social distancing and wearing masks. And at our first Sunday back we will celebrate communion. You can find more information by clicking: Back in the Sanctuary!

I hope that your start of Summer has been going well! The heat is here and it is feeling more like it. My prayer for you is that together we can have a good Summer, even if different than others we have experienced in the past.

It looks like we are going to be continuing on with things as they have been for a while. The Governor extended Phase 1 of his plan until June 15th. We’ll be continuing to worship online, outside, and at home until we get to at least Phase 2 of his plan. At that point we’ll decide if we continue as we are, or if we begin to come back inside the Sanctuary.

This is a very different season than we are used to, but through it we are learning more about what we are capable of. This Sunday is Pentecost, and it was the first time that the church did something different, and then figure out how to live in that moment. We are in the middle of our own season of Pentecost as we are working through many of the same lessons that the early church did.

This Sunday, May 24th, we’re starting worship again at the church. We will be outside in the back parking lot for a couple of weeks before we start back up in the Sanctuary. No matter how we worship: at home, online, in a parking lot, in the sanctuary, wherever, I’m glad that I get to worship with you. 

​Good morning! We’re almost to the time when we’ll be opening back up for worship! I am looking forward to that time. To help us out with that, I’ve enclosed a short survey that will help us figure out who is coming to what service. We’ll be offering several services for a while to keep our numbers down, and we’ll be outside for them. Please return the survey this week to let me know. I’ll continue sending out this service as we’ve been doing for a while as well.
