Welcome
It looks like we are going to be continuing on with things as they have been for a while. The Governor extended Phase 1 of his plan until June 15th. We’ll be continuing to worship online, outside, and at home until we get to at least Phase 2 of his plan. At that point we’ll decide if we continue as we are, or if we begin to come back inside the Sanctuary. This is a very different season than we are used to, but through it we are learning more about what we are capable of. This Sunday is Pentecost, and it was the first time that the church did something different, and then figure out how to live in that moment. We are in the middle of our own season of Pentecost as we are working through many of the same lessons that the early church did.

Welcome
This Sunday, May 24th, we’re starting worship again at the church. We will be outside in the back parking lot for a couple of weeks before we start back up in the Sanctuary. No matter how we worship: at home, online, in a parking lot, in the sanctuary, wherever, I’m glad that I get to worship with you. Good morning! We’re almost to the time when we’ll be opening back up for worship! I am looking forward to that time. To help us out with that, I’ve enclosed a short survey that will help us figure out who is coming to what service. We’ll be offering several services for a while to keep our numbers down, and we’ll be outside for them. Please return the survey this week to let me know. I’ll continue sending out this service as we’ve been doing for a while as well.
Welcome
Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you’re able to have a good day, and a very special day to all of the women of the church. This isn’t the day that we expected for Mother’s Day this year, but it doesn’t mean it still can’t be special. Welcome
Good morning! I’m glad to be worshiping with you today in this way. This week you can expect another letter detailing our reopening plans. That will not be happening soon. We will be slowly starting back up. Your safety, an abundance of caution, and love of neighbor are guiding our steps through this. While this is not my preferred way to worship with you, I am glad that I get to worship in this way. I look forward to putting this together every week, but I’m especially looking forward to the day when we can worship together again. |
