From whichever platform your participating in worship today, let us know in the comments that you're here. Say hi! And say something about how God has added to your life
As you are a part of our online worship, it is a recording of our previous week's in person worship service. We do that so that we can share in a higher quality of worship together. Even though the service is recorded, Pastor John is down in the comments of the service every weekend.
What comes next follows the same order of service that is used during in person worship.
To start today, will you say this prayer with me
Come Holy Spirit, come show us how we can be the spiritual heart of this community

We're finishing our Faith Filled Life series with this service as we're taking a look at what our future holds.

Leader: The Spirit of God has brought us here.
People: The Lord has set us down here, though our bones are tired. [continue format]
Leader: Can these dry bones live?
People: Yes! The Breath of God will revive us! The Word of God will awaken us!
Leader: Today, we come together to experience new life.
People: Let us give thanks to the Wild, Life-Giving Spirit of God!

the wind of your Spirit is the very sign of life
for all who long for you.
One breath from you and we are rescued
from the arid valley of dry bones,
given muscles and sinews and joy with which to praise you,
and filled with the holy hope you grant to all your faithful children.
Let our whole lives be filled with the life-breath of the Spirit,
that what has lain dormant may burst into bloom,
and what looks to us to be death
may be revealed as but sleep
before the emergence of new life. Amen.

Children's Message--Pastor John
Prayers, Presence, Gifts, Service, Witness
As people of faith, we share who we are with each other. Below I invite you to share your joys and concerns, your prayer requests, and your offerings. You can use the link below, or in the comments
Share a joy, concern, and/or prayer request
Remember that you can mail in your offerings to:
321 N Kansas Ave
Marceline, MO 64658
You can also give online.
Take some time for some personal prayer, and take some time to give. This could be the time when you go online, or you write a check to the church, or when you make that commitment to give in a different way.
After the personal prayer, I'll say a prayer (if you're watching the video), and then join in saying the Lord's Prayer below.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen
Our scripture reading for worship is Ezekiel 37:1-6
As you are able, please stand for the reading of God's Word.
1The LORD’s power overcame me, and while I was in the LORD’s spirit, he led me out and set me down in the middle of a certain valley. It was full of bones. 2He led me through them all around, and I saw that there were a great many of them on the valley floor, and they were very dry.
3He asked me, “Human one, can these bones live again?”
I said, “LORD God, only you know.”
4He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, Dry bones, hear the LORD’s word! 5The LORD God proclaims to these bones: I am about to put breath in you, and you will live again. 6I will put sinews on you, place flesh on you, and cover you with skin. When I put breath in you, and you come to life, you will know that I am the LORD.”
Leader: This is the word of God, for the people of God
People: Thanks be to God!
Today's Message: Come Alive
Ezekiel's vision for his time is just as important for us now. God can breath new life into us, even in this day.
Go out into the world,
and labour to bring forth new life.
Dream dreams, pursue visions
and speak of God’s goodness
in the words of those who would hear.
And may the God who breathed life into creation be your delight.
May Christ Jesus give hope to your dreaming,
and may the Holy Spirit, your advocate and supporter,
........set your hearts ablaze with a passion for peace.
We go in peace to love and serve the Lord,
…In the name of Christ. Amen.
