Many of you took the challenge last year to read the Bible in a year. It was a big challenge. This year we're encouraging you to read your Bible more. Below we'll describe a few different ways that you can do that.
Year Long Challenge
If you feel up to the challenge you can take the year long challenge. It will follow the same format as last year with readings Monday through Friday (and weekends off). You can find out more about this plan by going to fivedaybiblereading.com Download the full plan here: Year Long Challenge. You can download the plan and work through it at your own pace.
You can also choose a shorter set of readings based on the Revised Common Lectionary. You can get readings once a week or daily. They aren't super long readings which means you can spend more time on those passages. This would be a time when you could make more notes and make a list of questions to ask.
To get set up you need an email address, go to https://blogtrottr.com/ and then follow these steps.
Choose Your Own Adventure
If you're still looking for something different, there's a lot of plans available over at bible.com
You can read the Bible directly from your computer or you can download an app for your phone. You can find the apps here: Bible Apps
They even have a kids Bible App for your kids that is geared right towards them
Whichever direction you go, take the opportunity this year to dig into the Bible and see what God is waiting to teach you.
