May 2019 Newsletter
It seems early to start planning it, but Summer is right around the corner.
Everyone needs some time to step away from regular life to get settled, reconnect with God, and even reconnect with family and friends.

This isn't going to be like any of my normal posts for my sermon shorts. This was a more difficult message to give because of its topic. Rather than typing a full post, I'll link to a video of the message below, and then direct you to find more information.
Below is our December newsletter. If you would like to have a hard copy mailed to you, please let us know in the church office. If you would like to be on our email list, and receive a copy by email, please email the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org
I would like to invite and encourage everyone to attend the CPR and AED Practice to be held in the church basement at 6:30 pm this Wednesday. Don Henke and other first responders will be here with several mannequins and an AED for hands-on practice. This practice should only last about 2 hours and if you have another commitment perhaps you can come in, let us know and we can be sure you get practice time in. There is nothing like hands-on practice to help you remember in a real-time emergency.
Take a look at he questionnaire below. This isn't your usual Spiritual Gifts inventory. It's a part of our series on 5 Cups of Coffee and is meant to help us see how God is already at work in our lives. After you answer the questions, ask yourself how God can use these gifts to help tell others about God, deepen your faith, and serve others.
After each Church Council meeting we'll post the minutes here. These are meant as a way of sharing information about what we are doing. This is in addition our other forms of communication. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the church at 660-376-2444 or email@example.com
One of the things that most distracts folks from being in, or leading a small group is the impression that it takes a lot of work to make it happen. I won't say that it doesn't take work, but I will say that folks have been doing small groups for millenia, and most of them don't take a lot of work, just willingness to meet with others.
