Kids Sunday School!

This is a note from our kids Sunday School teachers. If you haven't received your packet by Tuesday 9/8/20, contact Eleanor Ravens.

Dear Sunday School Parents and Students,
Your Sunday School teachers want you to know that we have missed seeing you in person the past months and hope before too long that we can meet again together in our room. For the fall, we will continue with activities that can be done at home or at church depending on how the Covid safety progresses.

We are sending you this package containing a DVD with a video for each lesson, a CD with songs that go with the lessons and activity papers for students and ones for parents to use as a guide. Each week you will continue to receive the papers by email. If you would like a hard copy sent, please let Julie or Eleanor know and we’ll make sure it gets sent to you. Once a month a video will be available on the church’s YouTube Channel with one of your teachers presenting the lesson. Just search for “Marceline UMC” when you get to YouTube. Parents, feel free to pick and choose the suggested activities you want to complete. Do not feel you have to do every one.
 
In this packet is your monthly surprise. We will continue to send a surprise each month. For several of the lessons there is a cube that your kids can make, which is included. Also, there is a yellow paper for each student to use throughout this fall with activities that can be done to help others. The stickers can be placed on an activity when it is completed. When a student has filled out the paper, please let the church know through a phone call or email and we will send you a special surprise for participating in all of the good works. If you want to take a picture of your paper and send it to the church, we will put it on our Facebook page and on the church website to let others know about your accomplishment.
